ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs system installations and training
- Consults with customers concerning the most effective use of the software
- Provides hotline support to customers
- Provides support to customers through on-site visits, workshops, and users group meetings
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves software errors
- Prepares system administration documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS databases
- Knowledge of UNIX
- Motivated and service oriented
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally
Preferred
- Knowledge of SQL or other relational databases
- Experience in systems support/service
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP or Java
- Experience with webpage design and development
- Experience with library systems administration
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related curriculum.
