VTLS User Groups

VTLS recognizes various regional, national and international users' groups from around the world. Each group is independent, self-organizing, and self-sustaining. Users' groups facilitate the exchange of ideas regarding VTLS products and the implementation of innovative solutions among their members. Users' groups promote the interests of all VTLS license holders by arranging meetings, disseminating information and presenting members' ideas and concerns to VTLS Inc.

VTLS encourages the formation of such groups because they contribute valuable ideas and assist VTLS determine priorities in software development. VTLS staff often attend users' group meetings in order to answer questions, offer assistance, and conduct product seminars.

Though different VTLS users' groups have their own dynamics, there is much cooperation among the groups. For example, the VTLS Users' Group (UG) and the VTLS European Users' Group (EUG) cooperate in a variety of activities, including the creation and maintenance of standing committees (which focus on specific subsystems of the software), the creation and maintenance of an annual site directory, and the sharing of membership dues.
