Ginny Tillage has been with VTLS since February 1985 when she started as a systems analyst. Ms.Tillage has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in computer science from the College of William and Mary. Before joining VTLS, she was a computer systems engineer for nine years with the Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences (VIMS) in Gloucester Point, Virginia. At VIMS, she developed and supported accounting and scientific application software and taught programming to marine scientists.
In 1987, Ms. Tillage became director of Research and Development at VTLS. She supervises the Virtua developers and oversees the design, development, release and maintenance of the Virtua software. In addition to planning projects for new releases she also continues to work as a member of the programmer/analyst team.
